Part 2 | Unexpected Ways I'm Making Client Creation Easier

This is Part 2 of my Client Creation mini-series...

What if one of the biggest reasons client creation feels so hard...is because you’re counting mental effort as business effort?

In this episode, I’m challenging a belief I think many of us have quietly adopted: that constantly thinking about our business means we’re working on our business but they’re not the same thing.

We’re talking about why hypervigilance can masquerade as productivity, how one difficult area of your business can convince you that everything is broken, and why carrying the weight of creating clients is very different from actually creating them.

I also share why I’ve stopped thinking about the “ideal client avatar” as a static exercise and started asking a much more useful question:

Who has my client become?

Because if the market has changed, your clients have changed too. And if they’re thinking differently, struggling differently, and making buying decisions differently, your messaging has to evolve with them.

In this episode, we explore:

  • Why thinking about your business isn’t the same as moving it forward.

  • The hidden cost of hypervigilance in business.

  • How to separate a client creation challenge from the story that your whole business is failing.

  • A more practical way to revisit your messaging without starting from scratch.

This isn’t an episode about hustling harder or manifesting more clients.

It’s about learning to spend more of your energy on the work that actually creates them.

Also… if you haven’t listened to Part 1 yet—The Unexpected Ways I’m Making Client Creation Easier, I’d recommend starting there before diving into this conversation.
